Hello
Hi! My name is Rachel Natalie and I’m an ER nurse turned abstract artist. I started making art during the pandemic as a way to cope with the emotional weight of my shifts, and it quickly became something much bigger.
I still work as a nurse, and each piece I create is rooted in that experience. I use materials from my everyday nursing life like syringes, tourniquets, IV tubing, and gloves to build textured, layered works that reflect themes of chaos, healing, and resilience.
For me, turning medical tools into art is a way to process the intensity of what we go through in healthcare and to share a part of that human experience with others.
